With 20 years’ experience in design for web and print, and working with businesses large and small, The Documentalist can take away the hassle of controlling and standardising all your design output and assist in achieving your creative goals.
“Anything Design” is our mantra, whether it’s something as simple as a company letterhead and internal documents or client-facing materials such as brochures and manuals, right up to exhibition stands, packaging and merchandise. We can handle the entire process, from concept through to draft and on to publication, in print, web or digital.
But it is not just documentation that we can assist you with: we can refresh your graphics and illustration, creating a clean and consistent style that conforms to and extends your brand.
At The Documentalist we love the creative process and believe that it is always a two-way process, a coming-together of ideas and concepts in order to build a striking and unique look for your business. Our approach is informal, open and honest, and we will never baffle you with jargon or complex concepts. We strive to establish solid and trusting relationships with clients so that we may succeed in business together.
We may be small, we may be new, but The Documentalist is your Design Department, helping your business achieve its true potential without killing your budget.
Look at our list of services and if there is anything we can help with then get in touch to discuss your requirements.
We look forward to working with you!
My name is Paul and I worked for over 15 years for Support Warehouse, the UK’s leading reseller of Hewlett Packard Enterprise technical support services in the UK. Working with the company right from its foundation in 2003, I was the principle contact for all design and systems development for the business before leaving in 2019 when the company was bought out.
I was solely responsible for writing a fully bespoke online CRM for the sales team as well as providing a design capability for both the business and its clients including Hewlett Packard, Sage and Trend Micro, on brochure design and print, web design and promotional video.
In the autumn of 2019 I founded The Documentalist, with the goal of offering any company, large or small, a professional design capability. I believe that any business should have access to great design without the associated high cost of a larger agency.
Living (with a cat called Arya) and working in Skipton on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, I love hiking the fells and exploring new off-the-beaten-track places. I also enjoy photography, movies and music.
